Quiet Genius

Life is always surprising us with fascinating and poignant views into how others have journeyed through this world. I was recently shown the work of Vivian Maier, a completely unknown street photographer who documented life in Chicago in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. She passed quietly away in a nursing home just days before her photography was discovered. She is now being compared to some of the greats. See for yourself the incredible talent that this woman had and the humble, private life she led.

You can view a video about the discovery on www.fstoppers.com. Or visit the website www.vivianmaier.blogspot.com to see more of her work.
