I had the pleasure over the summer to volunteer my services for several organizations. Earlier in my career I was very hesitant about “giving” away my photography but now I find it to be a rewarding and satisfying experience. I meet some great people, learn a little more about our world and always feel appreciated in the end.
First up was my second time shooting for Flashes of Hope:
Next was the Taproot Foundation which accepted me as a Pro Bono consultant for their work providing creative teams for other non-profits’ marketing endeavors:
My wife made me put down the camera and grab a paintbrush for this last one: We repainted a home for a great World War II veteran who needed a little extra help keeping up his home. (Photos not by me).
